Differential Thermal Analyzer
DTA 404 PC Eos®

 
Differential Thermal Analysis is used to measure energetic effects in a sample subjected to a controlled temperature program. Analysis of phase transition temperatures, such as decomposition or melting temperatures, can be realized quickly and accurately. The DTA 404 PC Eos allows determination of such effects between room temperature and 1550°C. Using true state-of-the-art DSC sensors, quantification of transformation energetics is also possible. Incorporating a newly designed electronics and data acquisition system, the DTA 404 PC Eos gives excellent performance at a very attractive price. It is an ideal instrument for research, development and quality control.

With the DTA 404 PC Eos, DTA or DSC measurements can be carried out between room temperature and 1550°C. The motorized furnace hoist allows easy handling and a reproducible placement of the furnace. The system can be purged within inert or oxidizing atmospheres to remove any evolved gases. Different user-exchangeable DTA and DSC sensors can be used, allowing optimization of the system for each individual application (e.g. high sample masses or quantitative tests). A wide range of crucibles allows accommodation of most possible applications.
